I can’t wait to share a few photos from this shoot as it’s with one of my (many!) favourite families who I have been lucky enough to photograph more than once. Her parents bought a Baby’s First Year Package so in early Spring last year I went to photograph her when she was just a few days old.  You can see how gorgeous she was as a baby by taking a look through this blog post.  This time Mila had just turned 6 months old, a milestone age as she was sitting up and her personality was really shining out, it’s amazing to look back and remember how quickly they grow up as babies.  I defy anyone to look through these first few images and not smile back at at the screen, she has such a wonderful nature and infectious smile.

I often tend to do my six-twelve month old shoots in two locations. First at home so I can capture the last of their baby details, their tummy rolls and tiny toes in the comfort and warmth of home, and get a few shots in their lovely baby gro’s that they will soon be growing out of.  The second part is often somewhere very close to their home, in a nearby park or woodland, where we can get a seasonal backdrop to the photos and a range of natural shots with Mum and Dad too.
