How beautiful is this gorgeous baby girl? I was so lucky to photograph her lovely big sister when she was a similar age so I was thrilled when Mummy got in touch to say she was expecting a second and would like me to capture those precious early days again.

As a parent I found the hardest photos for me to take when my second baby arrived were the ones with her older, wriggling, overly adoring toddler sister. I guess a photographer has (at least for a small window of time) a similar power to a teacher, and the children will sit and do as I ask for the photos, which certainly wasn’t the case with my eldest daughter as it was her mummy asking! Saying that I do have lots of lovely ones of my two, mostly with my eldest half naked as was her way, with her gorgeous curls, and heavy hands pulling about her newborn sister!

This big sister is equally adorable. Her face is of total awe and wonder, with such pride and happiness bursting through. For a warm, fuzzy feeling have a little scroll through some from this gallery.

It is always so lovely going back to a family who I have met before, seeing how their baby has grown, and meeting their new arrival. Shoots are always so relaxed, and by the time I leave it always feels like I’m leaving the home of some new friends.
